Welcome to an inspiring conference trip where you will learn how two municipalities have concretely worked to reduce the number of vacant houses. Over two days, we will visit Lessebo and Tingsryd – two different examples of how vacant house work can be conducted, both long-term in regular operations and through a targeted project initiative.

Leader Skåne Mitt Nordväst’s nomination committee is working to receive nominations for the fourth operational year. Proposals for members are accepted until April 7, 2026.

The long processing times at the Swedish Board of Agriculture are expected to last until at least June 2025. In the fall, recruitment of 15 new case officers is planned, which in the long run should reduce the case load.

At the current seminar on vibrant rural areas, Terese Bengard, CEO of Hela Sverige Ska Leva, was the keynote speaker, and she reminded us of the results from the opinion survey ”Landsbygdsbarometern 2024”

From week 28 to 33, the office will be closed for vacation.
