”The evaluation shows that projects that have received support within Leader yield good results in the places where they have been implemented. The projects are perceived as relevant and long-term while strengthening local engagement and its social capital. However, it is difficult to comment on the projects” effect for an entire leader area. The evaluation also notes that the implementation of leader projects has been negatively affected by the Swedish Board of Agriculture's administrative challenges, such as long processing times."
