About the project
The purpose of the project is to create conditions for starting a new business that involves trail riding with ponies for children.
The goal of the project is for people to easily come into contact with horses. For this to happen, the project aims to acquire horse and rider equipment, build a saddle room, and create parking with a fence.
The project consists of the following activities
• Purchase of materials and equipment needed to carry out the project.
• Establish parking and a fence.
• Create a saddle room
”Since 2011, I have been running a small hobby business with Shetland ponies on my farm in Åsljunga, Örkelljunga municipality. Today, I focus on breeding, but have now identified a new line of business – trail riding in the forest for children between three and ten years old, which has proven to be in demand in the community.
Several of my horses are already well-trained for riding and driving, but are not used for this today, which means that the resources are already available. The project aims to create conditions for starting trail riding for children, which would make the horses accessible to a broader public and contribute to increased profitability. To get started, investments in equipment such as saddles, bridles, safety vests, and helmets are needed, as well as parking for visitors and a heated saddle room for storing the equipment.”
