Learning in and out
For several years, we have focused on the Leader Method to develop a concept to include people who, due to functional variations, are far from the labor market, and who often also find themselves in a state of exclusion in society as a whole.
About the project
There are significant shortcomings in society regarding the target group of young people with NPF diagnoses/other functional variations, not least because those who make decisions on behalf of the target group do not always have relevant experience and knowledge of what it is like to live with a functional variation, primarily NPF. Often, the target group lacks networks, and as resources decrease, it becomes harder to receive support from society.
We want to offer a palette of lectures/study days for, for example, housing supporters, assistants, school/police, social workers, etc., to tell and, not least, show on-site what the right communication can do, thereby reducing dependency on support in the long run and learning to make decisions/take consequences. From experience, we know that with the right support, many can learn to communicate their needs themselves and thus experience increased inclusion in society. Being heard in front of a group of decision-makers makes a big difference.
We believe that more can develop similar activities if one takes to heart our experiences. We also want to inspire and show everything one can do despite – and sometimes because of – their diagnoses.
Project
”We believe that by communicating our stories we can inspire and show examples of what one can face and how one can handle ”reality” in different ways."

About the project
The purpose of the project is that young people who have difficulty making themselves understood and being met in a good way by various instances should feel greater inclusion in society. This by learning to communicate their needs and tell their own story and experiences, as well as learning to spread this further through various channels.
The goal of the project is a website that contains suggestions on different themes from the young people's experiences, with the possibility to book lectures, a method handbook, and digitally accessible educational material.
The project consists of:
– learning together under coaching and through learning-by-doing to build a website
-making podcasts and vlogs
-spreading what one has learned by learning to hold lectures and to publish the material in various formats on the website
-study visits to gain inspiration and knowledge
