About the project

The project will develop a building preservation operation by adapting and winterizing a new workshop for year-round activities. Through courses, lectures, and practical activities, knowledge about traditional color materials, sustainable building, reuse, and window renovation will be spread to both professionals and private individuals. The operation will become a local meeting place and knowledge hub that inspires more to choose environmentally friendly materials and methods while strengthening the rural economy.

The purpose of the project is to create conditions for a year-round operation that increases knowledge about sustainable building, traditional crafts, and environmentally friendly color materials. Through courses, advice, and a reference library, the project aims to inspire more to preserve, maintain, and reuse existing buildings and materials.
