About your personal data

As of May 25, 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect in Sweden and the rest of the EU. The regulation governs how we as an organization have the right to process your personal data when you are/have been in contact with us. The main purpose of the GDPR is to protect individuals' rights to the protection of their personal data and their privacy.

 

What is a personal data?

A personal data is information that can in some way be linked to you as an individual. This can for example be your name or personal identification number. But it can also be images, videos, and audio recordings in which you participate and can be identified. 

What personal data do we handle

The association only keeps records of individuals/organizations and their contact details when there is a legitimate reason to:

  • Conduct our daily operations through employed staff and compensated board members.
  • Convey information or provide support and guidance on specific issues to external stakeholders.
  • Process the projects that have applied digitally via the Swedish Board of Agriculture's website.

The association does not process any personal data for any purpose other than to fulfill our mission in accordance with the agreement the association has signed with the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

When you submit an application for project support

The Swedish Board of Agriculture processes the personal data you provide when you use any of their e-services. All data is stored electronically. The Swedish Board of Agriculture also shares the data with other authorities and with EU institutions for corresponding purposes in accordance with what follows from EU legislation, law, or regulation.

 

When you subscribe to newsletters from us

When subscribing to newsletters, your email address is stored in the program we use for sending out. You can unsubscribe at any time; information on how to do this is included in the newsletter.
