Create an attractive property advertisement
When you sell your house on your own, the design of the advertisement is crucial to show that you are reliable and serious. On this page, you will get tips on how to design an advertisement that attracts the right interested parties.
Basic facts
How big is the house and how many rooms does it have? How large is the plot? What type of heating system is there? Is it municipal or private water and sewage? Is there broadband connected to the plot or the house? Also, mention if you have recently renovated anything in the house.
Describe the surroundings
An advertisement should not only explain the property but also sell the home and the surroundings. It can therefore be good to describe more about the location and what is nearby, such as ski trails, hiking paths, grocery stores, schools, and similar.
What is included in the purchase?
Is there forest or other land included in the purchase? Perhaps you have hunting rights? Describe these and attach maps. Also, remember to specify if certain furniture is included in the purchase.
Pictures
Pictures of the house, both interior and exterior, are very important to include. Good quality pictures show that you are serious and help sell the house. Read more here about how to get good pictures.
Viewings
Do you hold viewings on request or only on certain dates and times? Clearly state this in the advertisement. Will you be present or do you have a representative? Tell who the interested party will meet during a viewing.

Provide your name and your contact information. Do you want them to call or email? If you are advertising on Facebook, do you want them to only contact you via email or do you prefer messages on Messenger? Be clear about how you want to be contacted.
